General Finishes was founded in 1928 by a Milwaukee lumber company to make finishes for their cabinet-shop customers with an extensive array of professional finishing products.

We use only eco-friendly waterbourne finishes on our painted cabinets. Recently, water chemistry has made more advancements while solvents have remained unchanged. As a result, water finishes today are equal or superior to solvent based products in most applications.
